These simple turkey and cheese roll-ups come together in about 10 minutes and taste even better the next day. Perfect for lunchboxes, parties, road trips, or any time you need a quick, crowd-pleasing snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 1216 slices deli turkey breast (oven-roasted or honey-roasted)
  • 4 slices provolone cheese (thinly sliced)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon dry ranch dressing mix (such as Hidden Valley)
  • Optional: fresh spinach leaves, shredded lettuce, sliced bell peppers or cucumbers, Dijon or honey mustard

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes, or microwave for 10 seconds (check, then add 5 seconds if needed).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with 1 teaspoon of dry ranch dressing mix. Stir until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Lay one tortilla flat on a cutting board. If tortillas are cold, microwave for 10 seconds to make them pliable.
  4. Using a rubber spatula, spread a thin, even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the entire surface of the tortilla, all the way to the edges.
  5. Place 3-4 slices of turkey flat on the tortilla, covering about three-quarters of the surface. Leave about an inch bare at the top edge. Overlap slices slightly to avoid gaps.
  6. Lay provolone slices over the turkey in a single layer.
  7. Starting at the edge closest to you, roll the tortilla tightly away from you, using your fingers to hold everything in place. Press the bare edge at the top to seal.
  8. Wrap each rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap, twisting the ends like a candy wrapper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
  9. When ready to serve, unwrap a roll and place on a cutting board. Using a sharp serrated knife, slice into 1-inch pinwheels using a gentle sawing motion. Serve cold or at room temperature.

Notes

Room temperature cream cheese is non-negotiable for easy spreading. Don’t skip the chilling step—it helps the rolls hold their shape for clean slicing. For best results, keep rolls whole and slice just before serving. These taste even better the next day as flavors meld.
