These easy turkey and cream cheese pinwheel wraps are a quick, fresh, and satisfying meal prep option that stays tasty for days. Creamy, savory, and crunchy, they make a perfect grab-and-go snack or lunch.

Ingredients

  • Large flour tortillas (10-inch size; whole wheat or gluten-free options work too)
  • Thinly sliced deli turkey breast (8 ounces / 225 grams; low-sodium preferred)
  • Cream cheese, softened (8 ounces / 225 grams; full-fat or light)
  • Fresh dill, finely chopped (1 tablespoon)
  • Lemon zest (1 teaspoon)
  • Shredded carrot (½ cup / 50 grams)
  • Thinly sliced cucumber (½ cup / 50 grams; seedless or peeled if desired)
  • Baby spinach leaves (1 cup / 30 grams; optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Dijon mustard (1 teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cream cheese spread: In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, fresh dill, lemon zest, and optional Dijon mustard. Mix until smooth and evenly blended. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Lay out the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Warm slightly if cold to make spreading easier.
  3. Spread a generous, even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla, leaving about ½ inch clear at the edges.
  4. Layer deli turkey evenly over the cream cheese, about 2 ounces per tortilla.
  5. Sprinkle shredded carrot, cucumber slices, and baby spinach (if using) evenly over the turkey in a single layer.
  6. Roll the tortilla tightly but gently, pressing as you go to keep everything snug.
  7. Wrap the rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap or parchment paper and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Remove from fridge, unwrap, and slice each roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels (about 8 pieces per tortilla).
  9. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

Soften cream cheese properly before spreading to avoid tearing tortillas. Warm tortillas slightly if cold. Chill wraps before slicing to help them hold shape. Use a sharp serrated knife for clean slices. Optional Dijon mustard adds tang. Variations include vegetarian, low-carb, spicy, and dairy-free adaptations.
