A quick, easy, and healthy toddler lunch featuring turkey, cheese, and grapes arranged in a fun bento box. Perfect for busy parents needing a nutritious, fuss-free meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 ounces deli-style turkey breast, preferably low sodium and nitrate-free
  • 12 ounces mild cheddar or mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes or fun shapes
  • 1012 fresh seedless grapes, washed and sliced in half
  • Whole grain crackers or mini rice cakes (optional)
  • Carrot sticks or cucumber slices (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons hummus or yogurt dip (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash about 10-12 seedless grapes under cool water. Pat dry and slice each grape in half to reduce choking risk.
  2. Cut 1-2 ounces of mild cheddar or mozzarella cheese into toddler-friendly bite-sized cubes or fun shapes.
  3. Take 2-3 ounces of turkey breast slices and cut them into strips or small squares. Fold or roll deli meat with uneven edges for easy picking.
  4. If adding veggies, wash, peel, and cut carrot sticks or cucumber slices into thin sticks or rounds.
  5. Arrange each ingredient in its own compartment or section of the bento box: turkey on one side, cheese in another, grapes in a small cup, and crackers or veggies filling the gaps. Add a small container of hummus or yogurt dip in the middle.
  6. Ensure everything is bite-sized, easy to pick up, and not overcrowded.

Notes

Halve grapes to prevent choking. Keep grapes and dip separate if prepping ahead to avoid sogginess. Use mild flavors and small bite sizes for toddler safety. Use an ice pack to keep ingredients fresh. Swap ingredients as needed for dietary preferences or seasonal availability.
