A fun and festive Halloween charcuterie board featuring candy corn cheese, gouda eyeballs, black grapes, and spooky crackers. Zero cooking required, perfect for parties, and a crowd-pleaser for all ages.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 blocks (about 8 oz each) candy corn cheese
  • 1 bunch black grapes
  • 1 pint strawberries, sliced
  • 1 small wheel (about 4 oz) gouda eyeballs
  • 1 cup pitted black olives
  • 2 cups spooky-shaped crackers (bat, pumpkin, or skull)
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup roasted almonds
  • 4 oz dark chocolate squares, broken into pieces
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Wash and dry grapes and strawberries. Slice strawberries into halves or rounds. Pit olives if needed. Break dark chocolate into small pieces. Set everything in separate bowls.
  2. Slice the candy corn cheese: Unwrap and slice into 1/4-inch thick slabs. Arrange in a pyramid or fan shape in the center of the board.
  3. Arrange the gouda eyeballs: Cut into wedges or leave whole. Place on the board with the ‘eye’ facing outward, grouped in pairs or clusters.
  4. Fill the ramekins: Put olives in one, dried cranberries in another, and almonds in a third. Place at the corners of the board.
  5. Layer the crackers and pretzels: Arrange crackers in small clusters around the cheese. Stack pretzel sticks in little bundles.
  6. Add the fruit: Scatter black grapes in small bunches. Place strawberry slices around the edges of the cheese.
  7. Fill the gaps: Use dark chocolate pieces and rosemary sprigs to fill empty spaces, overlapping for a natural look.
  8. Final adjustments: Step back and check the board. Ensure a clear focal point and balanced colors. Add or remove items as needed.

Notes

Let candy corn cheese come to room temperature before slicing to prevent crumbling. Keep wet and dry ingredients separate to avoid soggy crackers. Leave about 20% empty space on the board for an elegant look. Build height using ramekins and stacked items.
